The Journal provides open and free access to all its contents; without legal, economic or technological barriers, promoting the democratization and social appropriation of specialized knowledge financed with public funding. The submission and publication of manuscripts are completely free of charge.

The Latin American Potato Journal retains the copyright of the published articles, allowing the author to disseminate and use them for educational or research purposes. Articles can be downloaded and shared with other people, on personal websites or institutional or academic repositories, as long as the doi (digital object identifier) of the work published on the journal's website is linked and its authorship is recognized. The journal forbid any re-use of the material for commercial purposes.
