Abstract

The production of native potato is one of the strategies to generate income and improve well-being for most rural Andean families. An inclusive development approach to the value chain triggered innovation processes in the potato sector in Peru, contributing to the livelihood development strategies of Andean farmers and market chain actors, although the specific magnitude of the impact on poverty reduction is still to be determined.
